Unless you have been locked away and haven't picked up a newspaper in the last couple of years, you totally understand how polorizing politics has become lately. You also understand just how important it is to make sure that you are doing everything you can be make sure that your voice is represented loud and clear. Aside from voting, one of the best ways for the masses to send a strong political message is to support the companies that make the same political stands that you do as an individual.

We don't claim to have political leanings information on every single company and brand out there. Our goal is to list the most prominent companies with the largest footprints. Our list of companies is growing and we do our best to add to it regularly. Feel free to suggest a company you think we should track by sending us an email.

**It is not a requirement that a company formally declare its political leanings and therefore, gathering such data can be complicated and unstandardized. NOTE: Organizations and companies cannot directly contribute to candidates and political party committes, but they do so through contributions and spending by affiliates and that is where much of our data comes from. We use non-partisan, independent and nonprofit research organizations for our data, such as www.opensecret.org and followthemoney.org. Sometimes, tracking down the owner of a specific company or brand can be challenging because there are many large corporate conglomerates that own multiple sub-companies. If that is the case, be sure to look at the "sub-company" section underneath the main company to make sure you are tracking the right brands. Search by Keyword to find the exact subsidiary and its parent company.
